Where in the world did 2011 go? It seems like only yesterday 2011 was arriving as a blank page for us to write upon …where did it go? We had so much we wanted to accomplish; so many things we wanted to change or improve. Well, that page has flittered away on the wind and a new page is before us. 2012. What will you write upon this page? I have some writing to do as well.
I would like 2012 to be less “busy” and more productive. I would like to enjoy the process more; living in the moment and less focused on the endgame. I would like to be of more help to people - more help to you. My hope for COROA in 2012 is that we would all invest more of ourselves in the process. That we would all become more confident, accomplished landlords, and that we would enjoy what we do.
That said, we have some wonderful classes scheduled, beginning with a 2012 Tax and 1031 Exchange Update on January 24 at 5:30 pm. Our classes are well attended, fun and informative … and always better when you are there!
Economic Forecast Event
I also want to make all of you aware of the upcoming meeting of the Central Oregon Economic Forecast. This has become the premier business event of the year in Central Oregon as it is designed to bring you unbiased, academically prepared forecasting of local, state, and national economics. The event will be held at the Riverhouse Convention Center on Wednesday, January 18th from 7:00 to 11:30 am. Early Bird registration is $75 if you register before January 15. This is an event featuring internationally acclaimed speakers, and real estate licensees and property managers can get Continuing Education credit for attending this event. You won’t want to miss this!!!
